Dr. Franklin Green is an experienced choral director and has had highly successful choruses in both church music and public school arenas. His choirs have
given invitation only performances at state, regional, and national conventions in Savannah, Atlanta, Nashville, San Antonio, and Los Angeles, and performed in numerous other locations, including, Toronto, Washington D.C. and New York City. Dr. Green has degrees in Music Education, Church Music, and Conducting and is nationally known as a specialist in developing young singing voices. He has published numerous articles and has taught voice at the high school and collegiate levels. He has recently taught Choral Conducting and directed the University Women’s Choir at Mercer University in Macon, GA, and he maintains a voice studio in Peachtree City. Sixty-one of his former students have gone on to major in voice in college, many on full scholarship. Many are professional musicians today—teachers, composers, singers on Broadway and even at the Metropolitan Opera.
